I have been involved in a personal capacity with the following charity projects:
As a treasurer with Two Cents of Hope
As a volunteer for a fundraiser for an orphanage as part of the Indian Catholic Association

In India, the primary focus of kids, from the middle-class families, is education. In the bargain, they lose out on a few joys of life, like pursuing music or athletics. I for one dearly miss being part of a sports team. By being part of team ASHA, I want to satisfy this long standing ambition. This personal goal of mine translates to an opportunity for several kids in India, whose parents want them to study but cannot afford the same. This dream of their parents together with your support can enable these kids to pursue education and perhaps help other kids in the future. This cascading effect will have a positive effect on many a lives.
