Ramp Up Schedules

Here is the Half Marathon and Full Marathon ramp-up schedule. The ramp-up runs are a great way to get into the running mode before actual training starts and will also enable you to meet your fellow Team Asha runners. If you have any questions, please email us for details:austin.soh@ashanet.org

All Saturday runs will start at 7:30 am and will begin at Lady Bird Lake at the “Rock”(directions below). All Wednesday runs will start at 6:30 pm and will meet at the “Rock” as well.

Driving directions:
The Rock is located near Runtex Lake Austin. Click here for a Google map or search for “2201 Lake Austin Blvd., Austin, TX 78703” for driving directions.

From Mopac North:

  1. Take Lake Austin Blvd exit and keep driving straight on the feeder.
  2. Keep going until you see the Runtex store beyond the traffic lights on your right.
  3. Cross the lights and keep going straight until you cross the store (do not take the ramp on the left side of the road to Mopac, keep to the right side of the road)
  4. Just before the stop sign at the end of the road there is a parking lot to your left. You can park here. There is also ample parking on the streets.

From Mopac South:

  1. Take Lake Austin Blvd exit.
  2. Slight left at W 5th St /Lake Austin blvd.
  3. Left at Lake Austin blvd.
  4. Keep going until you see the Runtex store beyond the traffic lights on your left.
  5. Take a left at the lights and keep going straight until you cross the store (do not take the ramp on the left side of the road to Mopac, keep to the right side of the road)
  6. Just before the stop sign at the end of the road there is a parking lot to your left. You can park here. There is also ample parking on the streets
